I've locked myself in the Cletus-vette

I’ve been in Toronto for 15 hours, and have already wrenched on it for about 8 of those. Now I’ve gone and got the door stuck on lock. I’ll take this opportunity to post some pics though.

This thing is awesome. It’s really something you have to see in person to really get the feeling. Here we are at 2am trying to get the headlights to work.

If anybody has any tips on how to unstick the door lock, that would be appreciated. It’s really hot and humid here.

1.) Might run a bit better with a functional PCV valve.

2.) Dump that glass fuel filter. They break and burn up cars.

All you need to do is remove the door panel and there are some rods connecting the locks. Well, that’s what it looks like under there anyway.

They ran ventilation, but it would have just been a straight shot from the engine to the intake manifold. It probably wouldn’t have been an actual valve.

No. I fucked up as that’s the vent side, but it should have a PCV.

Interesting side note, the PCV for a ‘69 DZ 302 is the same as a ‘93 ZR1.

Everything after ‘68 at least has the PCV routed to the air cleaner, if not the manifold.

Could be. It doesn’t have a billion vacuum accessories like the vette (just TVIS, EGR, evap, and brakes), so it could have had more consistent manifold vacuum.

You’re totally right, but there’s something now allowing the lock to actually unlatch, it’s stuck on something in the mechanism .
